Drummer’s Review – Session #15
I’ve just spent the last couple of days in the stunning Devon countryside at Middle Farm Studios (which anyone who knows anything about studios has one of the best-sounding live rooms – especially for drums – in the UK!) demoing a range of products for Drummer’s Review.
Since its inception in August 2017, the Drummer’s Review team consisting of Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood, Josefa Torres, Chris Edkins and myself have produced over 80 videos looking at various kits, cymbals, snares, e-kits, heads, accessories and more.
This session we spent time with a Sonor SQ1 kit; a selection of Pearl’s Modern Utility maple snare drums; some Sabian AAX thin bright cymbals and some of DW’s new AH4 pedals from their 5000 range.
As always, we tried to make sure we gave each a thorough, fair and completely unbiased review, and you’ll be able to see the results of us shining the Drummer’s Review spotlight on these particular products in the coming weeks/months over on our YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/drummersreview
